About the DXF Viewer

This free online DXF viewer opens AutoCAD DXF drawings directly in your browser — no AutoCAD, no CAD software, and no installation required. Drag in a .dxf file and you can pan, zoom, toggle layers, and click individual entities to inspect their properties, all without an account or sign-up.

How to use

1. Drag a .dxf file anywhere onto the page, or click the upload box to browse for one.
2. The drawing renders instantly. Use the mouse wheel to zoom and drag to pan.
3. Open the Layers tab to show or hide layers individually, or use Show All, Hide All, and Invert.
4. Hover over a line, arc, or text to highlight it, then click to select it.
5. Read the selected entity's geometry and attributes in the Properties tab.
6. Optionally add .ttf, .otf, or .shx font files so custom text styles display correctly.
