About the Image Splitter

This free online image splitter slices a single image into a grid of separate pieces — 3×4, 2×8, or any number of columns and rows you choose. Move each cut by dragging the split lines, remove a band of pixels along every cut with the line thickness, add a margin around each piece, and download all the tiles together as a ZIP. Everything runs in your browser, so your image is never uploaded to a server.

How to use

1. Drop an image onto the upload area, or click it to browse and choose a file.
2. Set the number of columns and rows — the image is divided into that grid.
3. Drag any split line on the preview to move that cut where you want it.
4. Increase the line thickness to drop a gutter of pixels along each cut (0 keeps every pixel).
5. Add a margin to pad every piece on all four sides.
6. Use Reset to equal spacing any time to snap the cuts back to an even grid.
7. Click Split & download to get a ZIP of every piece (a single piece downloads directly).
