About the QR Code tool
This free online QR code tool does two jobs in one place: it generates QR codes from
your own content and scans existing QR codes using your camera or an image file. Build a
code for a link, Wi-Fi network, or contact card, then download it as a crisp PNG or SVG —
all directly in your browser.
How to use
- On the Generate tab, pick a type — Text / URL, Wi-Fi, Email, SMS, or vCard.
- Fill in the fields; the QR code preview updates live as you type.
- Open Options to adjust size, error-correction level, margin, and foreground/background colors.
- Download the result as PNG or SVG, or copy the image to your clipboard.
- To read a code, switch to the Scan tab and click Start Camera, or use Upload image to scan a saved picture. Then copy the result or open the link.

Everything runs in your browser — QR codes are generated with JavaScript, and the camera
feed and uploaded images are processed locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a

Tip: when a code will be printed small or on a curved surface, raise the
error correction level to High so it still scans reliably.
