About the SVG Editor

This free online SVG editor lets you draw and edit scalable vector graphics right in your browser. Place shapes, draw paths with the pen, add text, organize your work into layers, and export a clean SVG file when you're done. There is nothing to install and no account to create — open the page and start drawing.

How to use

1. Click New File and pick a canvas size — an icon size, screen size, A4, or a custom width and height.
2. Choose a tool from the palette: select, node edit, rectangle, ellipse, line, polygon, a built-in shape, pen, or text.
3. Draw on the canvas, then adjust position, size, rotation, fill, stroke, dashes, and markers in the properties panel.
4. Use layers, grouping, and the grid with snap to keep complex drawings organized.
5. Click Save or Export to download your artwork as an .svg file.
